URL Forwarding

URL Forwarding allows you to redirect traffic from your domain name to another URL (Uniform Resource Locator). This is a useful alternative for people with internet dialup accounts who don't wish to buy a fully fledged web hosting package. In simple terms, URL forwarding enables you to resolve your domain name to your free web hosting space provided to you by your ISP or other provider.

Standard URL Forwarding: AUD 15.75 annual charge

( + initial setup fee of AUD 15.75)

This service redirects visitors to the destination URL and shows the actual URL in the address bar of the browser.

Premium URL Forwarding: AUD 27.57 annual charge

( + initial setup fee of AUD 27.57)

The premium service redirects visitors to the destination URL and retains the domain name (www.yourdomain.com), rather than the destination URL, in the address bar.

IMPORTANT: If you wish to use either of our URL forwarding services, your domain name must be delegated to our primary and secondary DNS servers. These are ns1.planetdomain.com and ns2.planetdomain.com respectively.

If you are not currently a customer of ours, you will first need to transfer your domain to us before we can arrange URL forwarding.
